I was delighted to join Sir David Evennett MP this morning in Bexleyheath to talk about my plan to keep Bexley and Bromley safe, green and thriving.
We spoke about the threat Sadiq Khan's Outer London Tax poses to Bexleyheath and Crayford. Labour's plan to charge drivers up to £5.50 to enter Greater London would hammer Bexley and Bromley.
Every day people cross from Dartford and elsewhere in Kent into Crayford and Bexleyheath to shop, work and visit. Sadiq Khan's plan would penalise them for doing so, hurting our local economy, visiting family and friends and our public services who rely on staff from outside Greater London.
As your London Assembly Member, I will work with Sir David Evennett MP and stand up for Bexleyheath and Crayford in City Hall. Together with Shaun Bailey, the Conservative candidate for Mayor of London, I will stop Sadiq Khan's ludicrous boundary charge.
On 6 May, vote Conservative to stop Sadiq Khan's Outer London Tax, recruit 8,000 extra police officers and protect our green spaces.
