Bexley and Bromley get a terrible deal from City Hall. Under Sadiq Khan, neither borough has received the police officers, mayoral funding or transport investment they need. That’s what I am trying to change as your Conservative London Assembly Member.
My job is to scrutinise the Mayor and to get the best deal for the people of Bexley and Bromley. I am fighting to:
Make Bexley and Bromley Safe
I am fighting to get more police officers on the beat across Bexley and Bromley to tackle crime and restore local policing.
Protect Our Green Spaces
Bexley and Bromley are great places to live and raise a family because of our access to the green spaces, which helps clean our air. As your London Assembly Member, I will fight any attempt to scrap London’s green belt which could have devastating consequences for our local environment.
Get Bexley and Bromley Moving
Transport for London is bankrupt. And Sadiq Khan expects you to pay the price. To get Bexley and Bromley a better deal from TfL, I will press them to fix the transport network’s finances and deliver much-needed improvements. I will urge TfL to improve its bus service which can be infrequent and inconsistent in parts of both boroughs.
Help Local Businesses Bounce Back
We must support our local businesses to protect, create and support jobs across Bexley and Bromley. City Hall has a vital part to play in helping Greater London recover from the coronavirus crisis. As your London Assembly Member, I champion our local businesses in City Hall and work tirelessly to help our economy recover from this crisis.
Support Responsible & Appropriate Development
For many young people in Bexley and Bromley, buying a home seems impossible. And Khan’s housing policy prioritising smaller homes is forcing families to leave. I will campaign restore City Hall’s affordable family-sized homes target. And I will fight Khan’s ban on using Strategic Industrial Land for housebuilding.
