Peter Fortune MP has today presented a donation of £250 to Hayes Royal British Legion.
The donation followed on from Peter taking part in the Betting and Gaming Council's charity Grand National bet scheme. Despite the horse Peter backed, Panic Attack, falling at the third fence, they still provided a donation to his charity of choice.
Speaking after presenting the donation Peter said: "There was no better way to round off Armed Forces Week last week than with a visit to Hayes Royal British Legion to present them with a £250 donation that I secured for them by placing a charity Grand National Bet.
"Brilliant to enjoy some entertainment from the D-Day Belles afterwards too."
