Bromley and Biggin Hill MP Peter Fortune welcomed Crystal Palace to Parliament today to celebrate its FA Cup and Community Shield victories, and the incredible charitable work of the Palace for Life Foundation.
Speaking at the celebration, Peter said, "When I think back to school, to playing football, to the friends I made, the opportunities it gave me, that's what the Place for Life Foundation is all about.
"It's about reaching out. It's about making sure football brings communities together. It gives people not just sporting opportunities but also the chance to see other parts of life. It can genuinely save people.
"The work I've seen across Bromley, Croydon and all of South London truly is extraordinary. I think it's wonderful to have the club in here today to celebrate that work because you know it's true."
