Today Peter Fortune MP joined Cancer Research UK (CRUK) at their event in Parliament ahead of World Cancer Day on Wednesday.
Each year there are around 660 new Cancer diagnoses in Bromley and Biggin Hill and sadly there are around 180 Cancer deaths every year.
This was a valuable opportunity to speak to CRUK about their priorities for the National Cancer Plan as well as the opportunities that new technologies like AI can offer in improving cancer outcomes and research in the future.
