Peter Fortune MP stood up for the nearly 4,800 small businesses across Bromley and Biggin Hill in Parliament today.
In the House of Commons, Mr Fortune told the Labour government: "The constituency of Bromley and Biggin Hill has nearly 4,800 small businesses. They’re the lifeblood of our local economy. If they thrive, our community succeeds. If they fail, our community suffers. But like small businesses across the country, Labour’s making a tough job harder.
"I’ve lost count of the number of local enterprises who have told me they’ve stopped recruiting, are making redundancies, delaying investment, and increasing prices after Labour’s tax-raising Budget. This Labour Government isn’t helping businesses deliver economic growth, instead they’re taxing them to the brink."
