Have Your Say: Hayes Farm Planning Application

Hayes Farm Greenbelt Land

Berkeley Homes have now lodged their application with Bromley Council, to build more than 2,000 homes on Hayes Farm and surrounding green space.

This application is now being validated to check that all reports and necessary documents had been provided. Once this is done, the application will then be given a reference number, and a planning case officer will be allocated. At that point, the plans will be placed on the Bromley Planning Portal and members of the public invited to make their comments.

I will be sure to keep residents updated on when this happens.

I have been clear since I was elected that I will stand up for our Greenbelt and oppose developments that would see it concreted over.

It's a myth that Greenbelt land in London is well-connected, near local amenities, and has sufficient infrastructure. This proposed development in Hayes Farm also risks eroding access to nature for a huge number of local residents.

Bromley is a great place to live, work and raise a family because it’s one of the greenest boroughs in London.

I need as many local people as possible to share their views on the proposals for development at Hayes Farm so that I can demonstrate the local strength of feeling on this issue.

Please do share your views with me below.

UPDATE:

You can now formally object to this planning application on Bromley Council's planning portal. Please find the link here: Planning Application: 26/02199/OUT
