On 6 May, voters in Crystal Palace will not only be taking part in the Greater London Authority elections but electing a new local councillor in a by-election. It was great today to talk with our excellent Conservative candidate for the ward, Tom Capon.
Tom is a local campaigner, committed to the area, and has a positive vision for Crystal Palace. He will stand up for residents impacted by neighbouring Labour Council in Croydon's disastrous Low Traffic Neighbourhood and fight to scrap it. He will also support local businesses, tackle crime by supporting Shaun Bailey's plan to reopen the police station counter at Copperfield House, and campaign to extend the tram to Crystal Palace, improving the area's air quality.
As your London Assembly Member, I will work with Tom Capon, stand up for Crystal Palace in City Hall, and fight to scrap Croydon's LTN, which is causing chaos on Crystal Palaces roads. So on 6 May, vote Conservative to send me to the London Assembly to fight for you, and if you live in Crystal Palace, to elect Tom Capon as your new councillor.
