The Labour government wants to remove winter fuel payments from more than ten million pensioners.
Their proposal isn't about targeting support and removing the payment from wealthy pensioners with spare cash.
Nearly 900,000 pensioners who are missed by the pension credit scheme, surviving off less than £218 a week, will lose out.
According to Age UK, around one million more pensioners living off as little as £12,000 a year and ineligible for pension credit will also be worse off.
Under Labour's plans, over 15,000 pensioners across Bromley and Biggin Hill could lose up to £300 of support.
