Save Bromley Police Station

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is making £260 million of cuts to the Metropolitan Police Service, cutting 1,700 police officers and staff, removing officers from schools, and cutting front counter services.

Under these plans, Bromley Police Station will be closed overnight to victims of crime and the public. From December 2025, the front counter will only be open between 10 am and 10 pm on Monday to Friday and between 9 am and 7 pm on the weekend.

Our borough may be relatively safe compared to other parts of Greater London, but as a major town centre, Bromley has significant policing challenges. In the past year, there were more than 1,000 thefts, nearly 700 instances of violence, 176 drug offences and 78 sexual offences.

That's why I've launched a petition to save Bromley Police Station. If you oppose Labour's plan to reduce its opening hours, please sign the petition today and share it with family and friends.
