Campaigning for better public transport locally

Bromley has fast train services to central London. Southeastern rail services in the constituency include trains from Bromley North to Grove Park, trains to London Charing Cross from Hayes, and trains to London Victoria from Bromley South. Thameslink also connects Bromley South to London Blackfriars.

But we do not have adequate public transport for orbital routes across our borough. Unlike other places in Greater London, we cannot access Transport for London services beyond buses. No express bus route connects Bromley and Orpington town centres or Princess Royal University Hospital. The Superloop (SL4) to Canary Wharf starts at Grove Park, missing Bromley.

Unlike the rest of Bromley, Biggin Hill is poorly connected by public transport, with no rail services. The five bus routes connecting the town with the rest of the borough are too often unreliable, and there is no express bus service.

I’m fighting for improved rail and bus services from Southeastern and Transport for London, including upgraded metro trains and new express bus routes.
