A strong local economy means more jobs, more opportunities and higher wages. But Labour’s decision to increase employers’ national insurance contributions has hit businesses across the Bromley and Biggin Hill constituency. I oppose Labour’s job tax because employers locally have told me it will mean less investment, fewer opportunities and job cuts.
I’m backing local businesses, big and small, to create jobs, hire apprentices and expand. Before entering Parliament, I worked in the private sector. I understand the challenges facing small businesses. That’s why I support competitive taxes, removing regulatory burdens and action to revive our high streets and town centres.
